Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineer In Training to join our growing team in Whitby.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform calculations and analysis using engineering formulas for design of private and municipal infrastructure in support of land development projects

Prepare grading and servicing plans in support of land development projects

Prepare sanitary and storm design calculations

Prepare erosion & sedimentation control plans

Prepare functional servicing and stormwater management reports for private developments

Assist in preparing contract specifications and tender packages, such as quantity take-offs, cost estimates, etc

Assist in applying for an obtaining the necessary permits and approvals to proceed with construction

Other assignments as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

EIT license with PEO

Relevant internship or related work experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required
