Responsibilities: • Support with Implementation of Safety Critical Facility Management Processes
- Support with the management of Safe & Unsafe Behavior Observation (SUBO) Processes
- Support with 6S Campaign and initiative in the facility
- Work with Plant operations and Manufacturing Engineers on safety related issues on their assembly lines
- Work on EHS Documentation where applicable (SOPs, Non-Standard Risk Assessment, Injury reports etc.
- Drive and participate in Continuous Improvement projects
- Support TPM activities and participate in team member meetings to review safety items
- Support with the management, scheduling, collating and data analysis of Silent Observation for Fork-Lift truck drivers
- Update documentation for upcoming audit
- Participate in A3 Meeting to for all safety related A3s
- Material Storage designation and validate min/max capacities on each assembly lines
- Document and maintain records of safety alerts from the global business – Generate PDCA for KOC as lessons learned/ best practices from the alerts
- Manage Contractor Safety Program – wih documentation and supervision of contractros in the facility conducting work
- Support with zero lift review of the facility using Ergonomic assessments and physical demand analysis
- Support the roll out of lift assist programs across all assembly lines
- Manage the visual communication to team members through various forms of media/outlets
- Develop ergonmic hotspot and improvement plan for the facility: 5 – 10 ergonomic improvement activities
- Support with the managmeent of facility training matrix
Educational and Experience Requirements: • Able to communicate in English
- Basic Excel

The intern in the EHS department is responsible for supporting the implementation of safety critical facility management processes, managing safe and unsafe behavior observation processes, participating in continuous improvement projects, working with plant operations on safety issues, updating EHS documentation, and supporting various safety initiatives. They are also required to have basic Excel skills and learn about lockout/tagout, JIS, QMS, and standardized work.
