Job description: As the Director, Global HR Operations, you will have a front row seat to our next phase of growth at ValGenesis with the opportunity to have a direct impact on our employee experience. In this role you will be building and running the systems, structure, and processes needed to drive the development and execution of employee onboarding and offboarding, feedback and decision-making systems and insights, technology solutions and operations, compliance, policy and procedure administration, and more. - You will lead the global HR Operations function – from overseeing the development and fine-tuning of our people technology systems, identifying insights and analytics to help with decision-making and streamlining processes to make life at ValGenesis easier for our People Leaders and employees.
- In your first months at ValGenesis, your focus will be reviewing existing processes to understand bottlenecks and gaps – taking direct ownership of implementing data-backed improvements to better meet needs of the business, promote efficiency, and improve the employee experience.
- You will provide project management and technical support across a variety of HR Team initiatives, especially those of a systems and analytics nature, to help ensure HR priorities are completed on time and with a high level of operational excellence.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders across the HR team, as well as cross-functional partners (Finance, IT, Admin, Quality) to implement a customer-focused mindset in building out People technology, processes, and operational capabilities across offices globally.
- You will find opportunities to unlock data insights and apply data throughout HR Operations to drive decision-making and efficiency gains. Be conscious of future analytic needs and ensure basic data integrity steps are built into processes.
- You will partner with the HR team to seamlessly execute HR processes including our onboarding and offboarding, performance management cycles, merit cycle
- Partnering with the Quality team, you will act as a key HR stakeholder when it comes to influencing our HR processes to ensure they meet ISO, SOC2, and customer audit requirements while also supporting business needs.
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive experience in global HR Operations, scaling from start-up to scale-up
- A strong operational background with the ability to leverage technology in building an efficient user experience. A bonus if you have previous experience with HiBob, Culture Amp, Docebo and/or Workable.
- You have an in-depth understanding of HR best practices, with the ability to move seamlessly from strategy development to execution.
- You have an entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to create order from chaos, challenge the status quo and a willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems.
- You have strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate around ambiguities autonomously.
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- You have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- You handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, empathy and a high degree of discretion.
