Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs the Manager, Coaching Operations, Toronto Raptors, you will provide comprehensive strategic, operational, administrative, and special project support to the Head Coach and Coaching team of the Toronto Raptors. You will lead, execute, and support day-to-day duties including (but not limited to) written correspondence, verbal communication, expense reports, , invoice management, budgeting, logistics planning, and calendar management. The successful candidate will have a global approach, experience working with executives in a fast-paced year-round environment, and a strong understanding of business strategy.Position: 8 Month Contract

  • Support the Head Coach to ensure efficiency in their role.
  • Serve as a trusted partner, leading all aspects of administrative duties such as calendar management, expense reconciliation, and handling business matters related to the Raptors, philanthropy, and personal endeavours.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements for coaching staff, including the reconciliation of associated expenses.
  • Act as the liaison between the Head Coach, Coaching team, and key internal teams (Marketing/Brand, Partnerships, Ticketing, Community Foundation, Player Advancements & Social Impact Team) to align goals and fulfill contractual and community obligations.
  • Manage all incoming requests and collaborate with internal and external parties to successfully deliver and execute appearances and speaking engagements, from start to finish.
  • Foster relationship development by proactively communicating with coaches and players to improve support for the Head Coach and Coaching team.
  • Working knowledge and ability to operate videoboard and screens upon request
  • Provide on-ground assistance to the Coaching team for off-site meetings, appearances, and events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in sports administration, team operations, or similar roles, preferably in collegiate, semi-professional, or professional sports organizations.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience working across multiple time zones with global stakeholders.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to finding and suggesting solutions while working with individuals at all levels.
  • Technologically savvy and proficient with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other tools.
  • Extensive digital acumen, including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong editing and proofreading abilities.
  • Proven time management skills, with the ability to effectively establish and execute priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Available to work frequently on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
