Edelman Toronto is looking for dynamic and talented communications professional to join our team as an Account Executive, working in our Digital Specialty. You possess a passion for social media, digital marketing, and the data connecting it all together. Having an appetite for proactively staying on top of the latest digital trends, platforms and social media channels is a must.
The successful Digital Account Executive candidate will join Edelman Digital, the world’s largest global social agency and part of Edelman, the largest PR firm in the world.
You will work in a team assisting to develop and execute content and community engagement strategies for our B2B & agriculture clients, execute point-in-time campaigns and projects and monitor channels for issues.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in digital strategy development and program execution for Edelman clients
- Foster community engagement with our clients’ brands across social media platforms. (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat), while managing and mitigating issues
- Exhibit effective project management skills, including preparing and updating timelines, activity reports, and status reports for internal team and clients
- Support the team in monitoring clients’ social media channels, flagging or escalating issues as they arise within conversations while referencing established brand and community guidelines
- Assist with collecting and analyzing metrics to identify trends and themes, optimize program strategy and content and prepare social media reports for clients.
- Support on influencer programs, including management of communications for outreach and engagement, and identification of ongoing opportunities that will build relationships between the client’s brand and influencers
- Develop understanding of client’s internal organization, business, and competitors
Qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree or diploma in related field, such as Digital Communications or Marketing Communication.
- 1-2 years of professional experience is an asset
- In-depth working knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms, with a keen interest in sharing knowledge with broader team.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at writing compelling, grammatically correct copy for online channels.
- Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well and quickly integrate with a cross-office team.
- Professional maturity and organizational savvy to work within a complex corporate environment.
- Knowledge of WordPress and Campaign Monitor an asset
