Job description: William Thomas Digital is building Canada’s leading Digital Messaging and CRM consultancy. We help organizations and agency partners of all sizes to communicate relevant and personalized messaging to their customers through Email, Mobile Push, SMS, Social, Web, Marketing Automation and Chat.
We are currently seeking a Account Manager to plan and execute on all aspects of email marketing and digital messaging campaigns. The Account Manager will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams as well as William Thomas Digital partnership teams; ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs; and improve the entire customer experience. The ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs, engage and manage the correct resources, maintain proactive communications and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of on-going email and digital messaging campaigns for clients through various marketing automation technologies (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, Pardot)
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions demonstrating benefit and value based on customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Solid understanding and interest in marketing and digital projects
- Ability to multitask and prioritize while handling frequent change and delivery schedules.
- Experience handling multiple priorities and accounts at once while meeting tight deadlines
- Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both oral and written communication
- Strong organizational skills and proactive manner
- Excellent project management skills including, but not limited to: processes and deliverables, timeline development, trafficking, resource estimating/budgeting within scope requirements, campaign briefs, etc.
- Experience working with creative and IT resources is a plus
- Update email campaigns to client brand guidelines and templates
- Follow and maintain a QA process check to ensure error-free deployments.
- Ensure consistency and integration of message, branding, creative and content across email campaigns.
- Previous agency experience a must
