Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities:

– Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the financial data and reports
– Review and analyze financial statements and reports for discrepancies or errors
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate, HST, and payroll taxes
– Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
– Manage and maintain financial records and documents
– Assist with audits and financial investigations
– Provide financial analysis and support for decision making
– Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
– Stay up to date with accounting standards and regulations
– Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA designation is required
– 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
