Job description: Job Title: Guidewire DeveloperLocation: Canada (Onsite)Job Type: Full-timeJob Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team. As a Guidewire Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire applications. This is a remote position based in Canada.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Design and implement Guidewire solutions based on business needs.
  • Customize and configure Guidewire applications to meet specific project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with other systems and third-party applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Guidewire applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Stay updated on Guidewire platform updates and best practices.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer, with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Gosu programming language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Guidewire integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Guidewire certification is desirable.
