Title: Personal Support Worker

Salary: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is hiring Personal Support Workers in the Greater Toronto Area, ON.

Responsibilities include:
– Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes
– Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
– Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance
– Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
– Perform light housekeeping duties
– Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
– Document client care activities and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor

Qualifications:
– Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized institution
– Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
– Experience using a Hoyer lift and other assistive devices
– Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
