Title: Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $18 – $20 per hour

Description:
We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The Administrative Assistant will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The candidate will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls, organizing and scheduling appointments, and maintaining contact lists. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for producing and distributing correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Applicants should have at least 1 year of administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities:
– Answer and direct phone calls
– Organize and schedule appointments
– Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
– Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and faxes
– Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
– Develop and maintain a filing system
– Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
– Maintain contact lists
– Book travel arrangements
– Submit and reconcile expense reports
– Provide general support to visitors
– Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
– Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
– Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational and planning skills
– Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
– High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
