The Global Commercial Services (GCS) Canada Prospect Marketing team is a fast-paced environment that offers great opportunities for career growth and development. The team is responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies across all products and channels to successfully target and acquire high-value customers. The Assistant Marketing Manager, Digital Acquisition will be responsible for driving profitable acquisition across B2B segments through a variety of digital channels, including key internal programs, such as Member-Get-Member.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns and tactics to meet acquisition targets across digital channels.
- Lead the day-to-day activities, including channel management and optimization, creative assets and content, budget control, project oversight, and critical metric tracking.
- Manage ad hoc marketing projects from inception to implementation and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across Legal, Compliance, Product, Brand & PR to ensure marketing activities remain aligned with American Express policies and brand objectives.
- Work with external creative and media agencies to develop and execute campaigns that test the limits of digital media while meeting the marketing objectives.
- Monitor market trends and the competitive environment, review technologies and explore new developments
- Improve processes to optimize performance.
- Share best practices with local and global teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an equivalent Digital Marketing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce a plus
- Must be able to achieve targets for new customer acquisition
- Ability to manage several campaigns and projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and critical thinking with ability to translate analysis into recommendations and actions
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing and collaboration skills
- Must be able to demonstrate extremely high accuracy and detail orientation
