The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key projects and deliverables for our online prospect journey, including our prospect site, eApplication journey and lead generation programs. This will require close and effective partnership with our central teams, acquisition colleagues, product owners, external agencies, and other stakeholders. The key objectives will be to drive continuous optimizations by analyzing data and leveraging best practices, as well as supporting the execution of key market updates and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable acquisition of credit cards through our direct channels (Direct Traffic, Organic Search/SEO, Lead Generation/Email Marketing)
  • Co-ownership of our Acquisition prospect site and application journey, including ongoing updates and optimizations
  • Shape the acquisition roadmap for the direct channels program
  • Partner with the Amex Central teams and external partners to launch new Site, eApplication and lead generation capabilities for the Canadian market
  • Collaborate with local, central, and external partners on business plans and upcoming changes. Provide recommendations for how these changes should be reflected through the direct channels
  • Deliver flawless marketing campaigns end to end, from conception to implementation
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop and recommend strategies for channel and product improvements
  • Execute a test-and-learn roadmap to drive traffic to our properties, improve prospect engagement and conversion efficiency
  • This role will also own acquisition plans for a key credit card product

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will need to be organised to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritising effectively. It is essential that the candidate is a team player and can work collaboratively with a variety of internal groups, as well as have the ability to drive projects independently.

  • Bachelor of Commerce and/or MBA in Marketing Management, Business, or Finance
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing or product management
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven track record of driving results
  • Strong relationship building and partnership management skills
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Articulate communicator, with solid verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding coordination and project management skills
  • Ability to adapt to new platforms and technologies and learn quickly
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms is an asset (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and BrightEdge)
  • Experience in financial services is an asset
  • Product Management experience is an asset
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience is an asset
  • Lead Generation or Email Marketing experience is an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an asset
