Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
– Analyze financial data and provide insights to help management make informed decisions
– Support budgeting and forecasting processes
– Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed
– Collaborate with other finance and business teams to achieve company goals
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
– CPA or CFA designation is preferred
– 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related role
– Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices
– Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
– Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
