From our office in Downtown Toronto, we’ve created leading eCommerce experiences in the online grocery shopping, beauty, pharmacy, and apparel spaces, and we’re only just getting started.On shoppersdrugmart.ca and the Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) app, customers can shop a breadth of products including Beauty, Personal Care, Health, Baby, and Electronics, while also receiving great offers with the convenience of orders shipping direct to home.Analyst, Merchandising Strategy & Planning, 12 Month ContractAs an Analyst on the Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) Merchandising Strategy & Planning team, you will extract, manipulate, and analyze data from our large datasets to glean insights which will improve customer engagement, drive conversion, and increase sales. The Analyst will help drive engagement through utilizing data with the focus to drive sales and increase campaigns and merchandising efficiencies. We’re looking for a team player who is passionate about answering difficult business problems and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get deep into the data. Our ideal candidate loves to constantly be digging into the ‘why’ and is not afraid to challenge the status quo and ask the difficult questions.What you’ll doBuild and enhance weekly reporting and forecasting to understand sales performance as well as on-site / in-app customer engagement to better drive traffic and conversionAnalyze various datasets and leverage web analytics and sales datasets to support business decisions for campaigns, on-site merchandising, marketing, product and cross-functional initiativesSupport the 3rd party marketplace operations and measure impact of campaigns & promotions to optimize spend and improve salesWork with BI and Digital Implementation teams to increase data accuracy, accessibility, and automationDoes this sound like you?Completion of a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BCom, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or similarExceptional analytical skills and experience with Excel and SQLExperience with programming languages such as Python for modeling and automation and R for statistical analysis an assetExperience with data visualization tools such as Looker, LookerML, and Power BI to build and automate reporting an assetStrong preference to those with experience with web analytic tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Snowplow Analytics)Excellent communication skills with strong ability to cross-collaborate and carry projects through to completionAbility to deal with ambiguity, self-organize, and be proactive to complete multiple tasks on time with a clear focus on quantitative resultsHow You’ll Succeed:At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.
