The Canadian Consumer Sales team is seeking an experienced sales professional with a passion for technology and innovation to lead growth within a set of national consumer retail accounts. This role will collaborate with partners to seek opportunities, develop account plans, and implement programs to achieve further business growth. As a Business Manager in the Consumer Channel you will be selling iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Beats, and Apple-branded accessories from pitch to close. You will define the individual account strategy, driving consumer offers and deals through negotiation and analytics, and navigating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launches of new offers and programs.Description– Grow the business with partners who sell Apple products, driving towards a sales target. Build deep relationships, negotiate programs, and develop capabilities to achieve an exceptional physical and digital end-customer experience with results that benefit Apple and our partners. – Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends and the Canadian Consumer channel and develop comprehensive account plans that align with our partners’ strategies and expand Apple’s footprint. – Work closely with demand planning, merchandising, operations, finance, legal, business development, and the marketing organization to define a comprehensive strategy for the Consumer partnership. – Keep informed of competitors’ activities, account history, and emerging partner and market trends while understanding how to capitalize on these opportunities. – Design, recommend, and negotiate assortments, manage a pipeline of multiple products, and articulate compelling placement and merchandising strategies. – Responsible for sales and inventory reporting, promotional tracking, and payment program tracking and reconciliation.Minimum Qualifications
- Generally requires 8-10 years of sales/account management experience.
- Proven track record of achieving success by developing market-leading plans to drive revenue, share and unit targets.
- Strong leadership ability and proven strategic skills
- Strong negotiation skills, including at senior levels
- Expert at developing key partnerships within organizations, both internally and externally.
- Analytical agility with the ability to convert data into business intelligence while staying committed to the overall objective.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering messages to all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong influencer with an ability to drive objectives through key internal and external relationships.
- Ability to get results within a complex and matrixed environment.
- Experience with companies respected for groundbreaking marketing and channel development and strong brand and category management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
