The Position:
As the Business Synergy & Technology Intern, you will be splitting your time between two dynamic, multi-disciplined parts of the business. You will be supporting business synergy programs as part of the Synergy Project Management team and supporting various technology programs of water and wastewater products . In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within various fields of engineering as well as many other functions within the business (ie. commercial, procurement, supply chain). You will gain exposure supporting these teams and assisting the greater organization in achieving its goals and objectives as an active participant. This position is based in Oakville, ON
Responsibilities:
Technology Team

  • Providing engineering and technical support to the product designers
  • Assisting in data collection and analysis
  • Creation & management of databases, files structures and workflows related to product development and product improvements

Synergy Team

  • Management & updating of product & technology databases to drive alignment across the new businesses. Opportunity to learn about the various water & wastewater products within the VWTS & VWT portfolios.
  • Working with the global teams to identify, capture, track & report synergy opportunities that drive efficiency & profitability.
  • Supporting the synergy team to drive programs that enable the business to achieve business synergy targets

Skills:

  • Self-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player
  • Able to demonstrate a dedication to safety
  • Good written and oral communications skills and Ability to effectively present information to project and functional management
  • Strong organizational, communication and PC skills are required
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and contract documents
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills

Education:

  • University degree in course of completion
  • Open to both current students who will be returning to their in-class studies upon the completion of the work term and recent graduates who have completed their studies within the past 2 years.

Position: Data Entry Clerk

Location: Toronto, ON

Our client is looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join their team in Toronto, ON. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities:
– Enter data from various sources into the company database
– Verify accuracy and completeness of data
– Update and maintain data on a regular basis
– Prepare and sort documents for data entry
– Other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven experience as a data entry clerk
– Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Good organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
