Job description: Location: 351 King St E, Toronto, ONEmployment Type: Full-Time, Co-op/InternshipDuration: 12 monthsWork mode: 5 Days On-SiteWe are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Co-op student to join our IT support team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide support in various areas, including ELT (Executive Leadership Team) support, Microsoft 365 administration, hardware IT support, and Audio/Visual (AV) media support.Contact:– Principal Talent Acquisition Partner & Coach@caseware.com❗ This role is only open to applicants who are eligible for a co-op program through their school. Please apply only if you are eligible. Thank you!What you will be doing:
- ELT Support: Provide prompt and professional IT support to the Executive Leadership Team. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment. Assist with setting up and managing video conferencing and other remote collaboration tools.
- Microsoft 365 Experience: Support the administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings. Help users optimize their use of Microsoft 365 tools and troubleshoot related issues.
- Hardware IT Support: Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Support the deployment of software and hardware updates. Ensure all IT equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
- AV Experience – Media Support: Set up and operate AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events. Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of AV systems, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing equipment. Provide on-site support during events to ensure seamless AV operations.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an IT-related program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration) or similar.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related applications.
- Experience or interest in supporting hardware, software, and AV equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
