This will include Coins & Paper Money, Toys, and Coins amongst other categories. You will work closely with both internal and external partners to make sure eBay has the inventory and on-site experience to grow the business. This category is a major priority for eBay and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive this business to the next level.Key Responsibilities:Help drive category strategy (including strategic assessment of subcategory opportunities – customers, competitors, market forces, etc.)Develop and execute tactics and plans to build the businessMonitor key performance metrics (pricing, inventory, discoverability, customer happiness, gross merchandise volume, etc.) and react to drive businessLead all aspects of performance and business planning for top sellers, buyers, and 3rd party partnersDevelop solutions to identify new businesses, build a strong pipeline and help with onboardingDrive strategic product, policy, communications, business development, marketing, and inventory initiatives in a holistic manner to improve buyer & seller happinessDrive eBay onsite and offsite event planning with cross functional teamsDevelop and execute initiatives to fundamentally improve the user experience for our buyers and sellersRequired Skills:1-3 years of relevant experience with growing responsibility in Merchandising, Buying, Category Management/Account Management in an online retail or marketplace environmentPrior experience within the Collectibles industry (Comics, stamps, etc.,) is an assetStrong written and verbal English communication skills; French fluency desirableStrong attention to detail with the sense of responsibility for the flawless execution of assigned tasksStrong time management skills, including the discipline to get things done in ambiguous situations and the ability to work on multiple projects and navigate multiple partner engagements simultaneouslyExpert in MS-Excel and fluency with MS-Office and SQLBachelor’s degree requiredExperience in buying and selling on eBay an assetPlease see the for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
