Job description: Chatters Limited PartnershipsChatters, proudly Canadian owned with over 117 locations and growing, has an immediate opening for a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team.Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Branding, the Graphic Designer is an integral and creative member of the Marketing team and will be responsible for the overall design of effective marketing pieces that appropriately represent the Chatters brand on various platforms including internal communications, print materials, social media, website and e-commerce.This hybrid role will be based out of our Support Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, or Red Deer, Alberta, and is open to applicants in the Greater Toronto Area or Red Deer area.Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing graphic design elements and layout for communications materials, including presentations, posters, display & event materials, advertisements, signage, video, animated GIFs, infographics.
  • Work within the parameters of Chatters branding standards.
  • Assist in maintaining digital assets on chatters.ca. You will be responsible for using your design expertise to inform web layouts that use bright photos and dynamic content for optimal user experience.
  • You’ll be able to confidently use your project management skills to execute communications projects, ensuring the quality of images, photography, video, graphic composition, and suitable file formats and print settings where applicable. This includes implementing a variety of media including websites, emails, digital screen content, print materials, etc.
  • Responsible for producing engaging, clear copy for different advertising channels such as websites, print ads and catalogues.
  • See projects through from concept to creation. Starting with a creative brief/design request and working with cross functional teams to execute.
  • Use initial copy to producing engaging, clear text for different advertising channels including email, website and ads.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in the field of graphic design, including design trends, tools and applications, while contributing to a high performing team in a collaborative way.
  • Regular communication with our e-commerce and marketing team on branding guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
  • A passion for hair, beauty, fashion and popular culture, keeping artwork and copy current and relevant.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP, Marketing & Branding.

Experience:

  • Degree or diploma program in Graphic Design or Digital Media
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design, branding and marketing
  • Knowledge of beauty industry

Position: Customer Service Representative
