The role applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to provide audience selection or targeting subject matter expertise to help achieve sales targets and deliver best-in-class digital client experiences. The Audiences Specialist, Digital Channel makes decisions on the implementation of segmentation strategies for the personalization and optimization of digital campaigns based on online behavioral and 1st party data driven insights. The role works collaboratively with internal teams to develop client segmentation tactics that align to CIBC Digital Marketing strategies. The role solves business, operational, and technical problems within the scope of their job, proactively monitoring, researching and assessing digital leadership and innovation within and outside the financial services industry.This role focuses on personalized solutions to create a relevant, targeted experience for our clients as they engage with our websites and mobile apps. The Audiences Specialist will be accountable for recommending, influencing, and implementing digital channel personalization through client segmentation strategies based on data driven insights. Using the following advanced customer data and engagement platforms, Adobe real-time CDP, SFMC/SFDC, and Braze, you will generate client segments and campaign audiences. As an audience subject matter expert, you will work in an agile environment with a cross-functional team to support marketing campaign sprint cycles with the focus on achieving key performance targets. Experience with the Adobe products (Audience Manager, Experience Platform, Analytics, Target) is desirable, while having experience with Braze, Google (DV360, SA360, GA360, BQ), and SFMC/SFDC is a plus.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.   • Knowledge of marketing CDPs/CEPs: You are proficient using platforms, like Adobe Experience Platform, to generate client segments and audiences that best align to marketing strategy and that provide the best engagement experience for our clients.
  • Customer Centric: You will be responsible for understanding key customer journeys and segments across digital channels to provide recommendations on how to optimize the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Digital Marketing: You have an understanding of how users interact with different media channels such as .COM, programmatic, paid search, paid social, etc. as they progress through the purchasing funnel.
  • Technical Expertise: You have a working knowledge of marketing optimization tools and are proficient in using them to drive owned onsite digital campaign performance. You possess expertise in using software like Adobe AEP, Adobe AA, Braze, Unica, Saleforce, or SAS or Databricks; and, you may have experience in programing using Python, SQL, R, etc…
  • Effective Problem Solver: You notice things that others don’t. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making and you provide actionable solutions within a cross functional team.
