What You’ll Be Doing

Direct Financial Services (DFS) provides personal and business clients across Canada with direct-to-consumer products and services through a strong network of sites and Contact Centers. Lines of business include; CIBC Investor’s Edge and Simplii Financial. DFS priorities are aligned to CIBC’s priorities to focus on our clients, innovate for the future, and simplify our bank.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Distribution & Sales, the Analyst will lead the execution of mass and targeted digital marketing campaigns to increase digital sales and client engagement. The Analyst will lead campaign execution across all digital channels, including Simplii.com, online and mobile banking, and email, for all Simplii product offerings, including chequing and savings accounts, credit cards, mortgages, personal loans and lines, and investment products. The Analyst will collaborate with partners to optimize end-to-end digital client journeys.

How You’ll Succeed

Collaboration & Communication – Work with business partners to execute mass and targeted digital marketing campaigns on digital channels, including Simplii.com, online banking, mobile banking, and email, to increase revenue and deepen relationships with clients. Lead meetings to align on campaign objectives, targeting, digital channel tactics, client journeys, content, and timelines Oversee development, testing, and deployment of digital campaign communications. Work in an agile environment with a cross-functional team to support marketing campaign sprint cycles with the focus on achieving key performance targets. Use data and client feedback to reduce client irritants throughout digital campaign journeys

Providing feedback – Provide recommendations based on best practices, past performance, and A/B testing to deliver strong campaign results and optimal client experiences. Organize feedback and campaign retrospectives with stakeholders and ensure identified optimizations and best practices are shared to improve overall campaign execution

Identify and implement – Identify email best practices and efficiencies to increase email response rates, improve time to market, and increase email frequency

Track & Assess Performance- Track digital marketing campaigns and lead prioritization discussions with stakeholders for alignment on campaign roadmap. Assess digital sales performance for digital campaigns and communicate campaign launch details to partners

Cross-Functional Relationships -Create and manage functional relationships with Simplii teams, including Simplii Product & Growth teams, Optimization team, and Analytics & Insights team to ensure campaigns meet growth objectives and product goals. Build relationship with other CIBC teams including Marketing Communications and Technology to ensure all Simplii partners are supported .Attend meetings and foster relationships with vendors that can support Simplii in achieving sales goals

Who You Are

You possess university degree, and/or equivalent work experience

You have experience with executing and managing digital sales roadmaps

You are digitally Savy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies and can easily adapt to new tools and trends

You have Analytic skills including a track record of making recommendations based on data driven business insights

You demonstrate experience in tools to understand and optimize the client journey, such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, and JIRA

You have the ability to partner and work closely with internal and external business partners to assess and recommend plans of action

You embrace and advocate change. Agile/ Adaptable and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working in ambiguous situations
