Job description: We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Tester to join our QEA team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire testing and a strong Property and Casualty Insurance background. • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications.
• Prepare Test Data strategy based on Guidewire Policy Center and legacy system.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate Guidewire configurations and integrations.
• Develop Policy Center & Claim Center configuration/Integration test scenarios & test cases.
• Validate rating workflows in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Own and lead the delivery of all testing efforts and ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects promptly.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of new features.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers to enhance their skills and performance.
• Coordinate with Offshore, Onshore, and other stakeholders to complete the deliverables.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• Overall 8-14 years of experience in P&C insurance with at least 5 years in Guidewire Policy Center and Document testing.
• Must be well-versed in Property & Casualty insurance concepts with expert-level knowledge.
• Expert knowledge in PolicyCenter workflows.
• Good experience in Rating testing and understanding of Rating workflows, algorithms and Premium calculations.
• Must have good knowledge in SmartComm, OnBase or any external Content service system.
• Hands-on manual testing experience is a must.
• Must have very good experience in Agile and well versed in standard QA processes.
• Experience in Requirement analysis, test case creation, execution, defect reporting and retesting.
• Good in JIRA, & TFS.

What will help you stand out (preferred skills):

• IT Quality Assurance & Guidewire certifications are a plus.
• Have basic programming knowledge for test automation.
