We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalized, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behavior’s, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!The RoleIn this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a team of global writers to develop terminology and messaging for new regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create a messaging framework for various regulatory projects. This involves crafting diverse content, from messaging frameworks and terminology databases to technical writing and customer support scripts.This is a 6 month full-time contract based in Toronto, Ontario.Key Responsibilities:
- Craft messaging frameworks for new Regulations
- Assist in building a terminology database for different regulations
- Collaborate with global Program Leads on key messaging for different campaigns
- Act as a Point of Contact for designers/writers in each communications workstream.
- Ensure consistency and high-quality content across different pieces and channels
- Review and align content with the established messaging framework
- Liaise with Communication stakeholders to facilitate proper understanding and usage of provided terminology
- Support new regulatory projects such as the Regulatory Overview Destination
- Identify opportunities for improvements in our processes and messaging frameworks and implement them.
- Provides Ad-hoc campaign support (e.g. scripts for phone outreach and follow-up emails, updating existing marketing emails, filing tickets)
- Support new Regulatory projects
- Experience in stakeholder relations, and reaching out to team members
- Coordinate timelines for the launch of different campaigns and support in other projects
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in various content writing, including messaging frameworks, terminology databases, technical writing, and phone scripts
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a relevant discipline
- Familiarity with the ecommerce sector, online selling, and cross-border trading
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and understand diverse projects and priorities
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to work independently
- Willing to work varied hours to support a team in Europe
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus
