Job description: The opportunityManulife is looking for a diligent and proactive Ad Operations Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tagging, campaign setup, and campaign QA. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution and optimization of our digital advertising campaigns. The role involves building COE functionality, establishing digital marketing standards, and contributing to data storytelling. The role involves working with a diverse group of people, including performance marketers, marketing technology specialists, growth marketers, and digital marketing strategy and planning teams.Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage tracking tags: This involves placing tags on various digital platforms (websites, apps, etc.) to collect data on user interactions. These tags are essential for tracking the effectiveness of campaigns and understanding user behaviour.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and reporting and verify that all tags are functioning accurately and that the data collected is reliable and comprehensive.
  • Verify ad placements and targeting: Ensuring that ads are displayed in the accurate locations and to the intended audience is crucial for campaign success.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams: Work with performance marketers, marketing technology specialists, growth marketers, and digital marketing strategy and planning teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive campaign execution
  • Implement and manage data layer tagging: This involves setting up tags within the data layer of websites to capture detailed information about user interactions and behaviours.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience with CM360, DV360 or other DSPs, container tags such as GTM and Adobe Launch
  • Technical expertise and understanding the technical aspects of these platforms
  • Nice to have: Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Business
