We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Digital Marketing and Communications Manager to manage the implementation and delivery of OLG’s Responsible Gambling (RG) PlaySmart Brand & Communications strategy with focus on developing and delivering player education communications, media plans, management of digital platforms and/or RG content development and deployment across various enterprise and product channels.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director, Program Development & Delivery , you will be empowered to:
Manage the development of player education and experience programming and/or content across new and existing channels to promote positive play and risk reduction, including integration with Product, Brand and Marketing teams and processes for mass media marketing campaigns.
Manage and deliver Social Responsibility User Experience (UX) across digital platforms including OLG.ca and PlaySmart.ca. Responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders to deliver updated content, creative, and site infrastructure.
Support development and execution of PlaySmart media plans, including planning, developing briefs for player education materials, monitoring digital campaign metrics (Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing) including alignment with creative agency and internal marketing teams.
Collaborate effectively with internal brand and product teams to guide vendor and agency engagements on the development of RG player education programming and/or content for enterprise and all product channels and internal employee-focused communications channels.
Collaborate closely with the Social Responsibility Strategy and Delivery teams to ensure development of program materials and content which align with strategic objectives and enable effective and efficient implementation
Integrate Social Responsibility/RG strategic program and policy direction into the development of effective player and employee materials/content including evaluation and dissemination of key learnings from on-going research and analytics (PlaySmart.ca/OLG.ca/Campaign and promotional metrics)
Provide RG subject matter expertise to ongoing and new business initiatives including Lighthouse/Labs.
Support management of PlaySmart budget including financial document verification, processing and updating tracking documents.
Apply business judgements and acumen in regards to ongoing effective and quality content development for the RG Program in order to enable streamlined delivery whilst mitigating potential risks/issues
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: 3 – 5 years in a similar role with a focus in Corporate Social Responsibility or marketing 3 – 5 years in a similar role with a focus in Corporate Social Responsibility or marketing.
Education: University degree in business management, marketing or related field. Strong knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility. Strong knowledge of advertising and marketing practices. Understanding of gaming industry and operations. Exhibit high level of integrity.
Critical Skills: Problem solving skills. Digital marketing practices including SEM/SEO. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong relationship management skills. Strong project management skills. Exceptional creative visual and persuasive writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
