We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in downtown Toronto. This is a great opportunity for someone who has developed the maturity and skills required to anticipate business needs and yet still has the flexibility to jump in and help out when needed – no problem is too big or too small!
The candidate will be designing and executing email marketing campaigns such as newsletters, automated nurture programs etc, along with a possibility to expand into other digital marketing channels like paid search and SEO in the future. They will be part of the performance marketing team and will work closely with multiple stakeholders within the Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Product and IT teams to define and execute campaigns in Salesforce marketing cloud.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and manage the execution of email marketing programs in a marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), including customer segmentation, campaign setup, HTML adjustments, QA, approval, deployment and monitoring
- Monitor, analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Conduct A/B testing and enhance templates to continually improve all measures of the email marketing programs
- Collaborate with other cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years in Digital Marketing and one year working with marketing automation
- Experience working with email marketing/ marketing automation platforms like Salesforce marketing cloud (preferred) or other similar platforms
- Understanding of responsive design, with proven experience in HTML/CSS
- Strong technical and analytical mindset
- Understanding of the backend journey of an email, barriers to making it to the inbox, handoffs, DNS, IP’s, DKIM, definition of all bounce reasons, etc.
- Strong knowledge of CASL
- Ability to analyze and review data and apply learnings to future emails to improve performance
