The Position

Reporting to the Executive Director, Communications and Marketing, you are a motivated individual looking to join a high-performing and driven Digital Marketing & Communications team. You are creative, dedicated, and can take a task-oriented project and execute it. As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting various functions of the marketing and communications team including but are not limited to: managing product information and events associated to marketing activities both virtually and in-person; supporting market research and development through digital campaign support; execution of reporting and analysis with various systems and platforms including social media channels and the organization’s CRM and many other duties that involve the strategic support of key marketing campaigns and messaging.

This role is part of a strategic and fast-paced team and setting built on metrics-driven objectives. You will execute on digital marketing plans, develop marketing materials across all communication channels, create training and sales presentations, coordinate events, be a subject matter expert for sales and customer service inquiries, and provide general support to the team as a whole for both systems and campaign-related needs.

Requirements

  • Contribute to the development of strategic and digital marketing campaigns and plans
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across all communication channels. Tasks include, event coordination, design and copy-editing, database management, and collection and maintenance of content assets.
  • Support the development of product education webinars, workshops and presentations
  • Work with cross-functional teams to assist in the logistics and execution of conferences, workshops, and events
  • Ability to travel within Ontario to support team with event setup and client engagement
  • Support RFPs and submissions
  • Management inventory of promotional materials
  • Coordinate market survey and research·
  • Maintain data integrity of product information across all systems

Education and Technical Skills

  • University or college degree, ideally in a marketing program
  • 1-2 years of Marketing experience
  • Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize, problem solve and work under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Experience in supporting of organizational social media channels and CRM functionality, like Sales Force, are both assets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of Canva and Adobe Photoshop are also additional assets
