As the Digital Marketing Coordinator your primary responsibility will be to work with and support the team members within the Digital Marketing Department across projects and initiatives within catalogue and new releases.ResponsibilitiesSupport the overall digital marketing team on all initiatives, campaigns, research, and strategic partnershipsSupport the digital marketing managers through the initial set-up, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of our artists accounts, music and video content on platforms (primarily TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube)Participate in digital marketing brainstorms, artist meetings and partner meetingsComplete campaign recaps and analysisCreate presentation decks and learning materials for internal teams and external partnersManage creation and coordination of marketing assets for both artist and 3rd party needsManage select accounts and ensure each platform is fully optimized for new releasesIdentify and contact potential Influencers, tastemakers, media, and brands for possible partnerships within the digital spaceStay informed of trending topics and social media trends to leverageRecord highly detailed minutes during meetings, and assign tasks accordinglyOther duties/tasks as assignedRequirementsYou’re an avid TikTok user and live & breathe your life on social mediaYou’re equally as creative as you are organizedYou’re an experienced content editor (image, video, content – TikTok, Instagram)College Degree, Certificate, or equivalent work experienceKnowledge in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, and graphic design preferredStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast-past environmentAbility to carry out projects/tasks with limited supervisionStrong organizational and computer skillsA passion for working in the music industryUniversal Music Canada is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and strongly welcomes and encourages applications from Indigenous Peoples, people of colour, women, persons with disabilities, people who are 2SLGBTQIA+, and people from other diverse communities.
