Job description: What is the opportunity?
As the Digital Marketing Coordinator your primary focus will be supporting content operations for RBC Wealth Management globally. In this role, you’ll assist with CMS publishing, reporting, competitive analysis, internal newsletter creation and image selection. You’ll also support the rollout and execution of an internal content audit process.
Please Note:
- This posting is for an 4-month Student Summer 2022 placement with a start date of May 2022, and end-date of August 2022. To be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
- (1) Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2022; or
- (2) If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2022), you must require the work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.
- Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying – candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.
What will you do?
- Support digital publishing on the CMS.
- Monitor, measure and report on content performance to help ensure we’re creating content that meets our goals.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify whitespace and trends in content marketing.
- Assist with the execution of a newly developed content audit process.
- Support the team with image selection to be used in a variety of marketing initiatives.
- Assist in the development and distribution of an internal newsletter.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Experience or education in marketing, communications or advertising.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of content marketing, publishing and/or digital marketing.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work in a hybrid face-to-face/virtual team environment.
- Curious and excited about content marketing with an eagerness to learn.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-have
- Experience working in the financial services industry.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with web publishing.
- Knowledge of HTML.
