The Headlines:
In the role of Digital Marketing & CRM Manager (Maternity Leave Contract), Canada, working in Toronto, you are responsible for the development and execution of enterprise digital solutions in Canada. This includes ongoing planning and execution of Molson Coors’ CRM programs and customer data initiatives. This also includes managing day-to-day digital marketing operations, including brand social media.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan, design, and build upon our email, SMS, and other CRM channels. They can also manage campaign calendars for multiple brands to support promotions, product launches, and other markteing efforts.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Canadian Brands and Portfolio Solutions. You will work very closely with the Marketing team (nationally), Digital Operations team (North America), Precision and Data Marketing Team (North America) and external media, production, and creative agency partners.

The Responsibilities:
- Lead Canadian Digital Marketing Operations; includes CRM/Data management, digital marketing solutions, and social media/website maintenance and compliance
- Manage and execute email marketing and ensure alignment of calendar strategy with business priorities. (Management includes reporting)
- Lead Canada’s first party data collection through always on tactics (Brand Acts, Subscribe Forms, Partnership Programs, Retail Sweeps). Includes establishing data goals & reporting on data.
- Leverage data and metrics to optimize and improve performance
- Lead social media management and manage social consumer care agencies
- Conduct competitive digital reviews and identify new program opportunities
- Financial accountability – Manage budgets and departmental spend.
- Sourcing, leading, and negotiating partnerships with digital vendors and agencies is a necessary skill.
- Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback in creative and media reviews to ensure commercial and brand integrity
- Serve as a thought leader and educator in the category by crafting POVs on trending digital marketing topics, briefs, presentations, digital campaign recommendations and proposals.
The Other Qualifications:
- You have a University degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
- 3+ years Marketing and CRM focused, progressive work experience within Tier I brand.
- Hands-on experience with CRM applications, including data pulls and email deployments
- Experience planning and launching data collection campaigns and email marketing campaigns
- Creative thinker with impeccable communication and team-management skills; can collaborate effectively and efficiently
- Proactive, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, unassailable focus on the basics, tenacious (persistent about bringing open items to closure), accountable, enthusiastic
- Well-versed in CASL, Privacy Act and Data security measures
- Customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
- Availability to work evening/weekend hours, limited if necessary
- Strong understanding of key digital marketing channels and capabilities for the CPG industry
