You’ll work closely with brands, ensuring their products are optimally positioned for visibility and growth. By managing a portfolio of brands, executing merchandising strategies, and collaborating with external partners, you’ll help drive sales and engagement.Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Toronto office & 2 days working from homeReporting to: eCommerce Growth & Site Merchandising ManagerThese are some of the key ingredients to the role:Manage a portfolio of retail brands, becoming an expert on their products and digital merchandising needs.Be customer-obsessed – work closely with the merchandising and menu teams to analyze the customer journey on the mobile app and website, using tools like A/B testing to develop purchase decision trees and user journey maps.Leverage data from historical menu conversions, customer insights, supplier partners, and industry trends to continuously optimize the mobile shopping experience.Be inquisitive -become the resident expert on mobile site capabilities, evolving merchandising strategies to drive engagement while balancing technical requirements.Develop, own, and execute digital merchandising strategies that maximize product discoverability, engagement, and sales.Lead quarterly and annual promotion planning, collaborating with national partnerships managers, product teams, and operations to ensure seamless execution.Work with Data Analytics and Marketing to plan upcoming promotions based on past performance, optimizing for order volume, menu views, and conversion rates.Complete post-mortem analyses of promotions, evaluating effectiveness against key metrics like GMV, order volume, compliance, and margin targets.Build strong relationships with external partners, providing actionable feedback and insights to improve their performance on Skip’s platform.What will you bring to the table?2-4 years of experience in eCommerce, Retail Website Merchandising, Promotion Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, or Customer Insights.Strong appetite to learn with a “roll up the sleeves” mentality, thriving in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment while building a new line of business.Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred.Data-literate, with the ability to analyze performance metrics, derive insights, and develop action plans.Curious and a critical thinker, tackling challenges with a future-focused mindset and a passion for innovation.Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, able to influence across teams without formal authority.Strong communication and presentation skills, confidently engaging both internal teams and external brand partners.At Skip, this is on the menu:SkipTheDishes is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer.
