Job description: We are seeking a seasoned Product Specialist to lead and support the evolution of our client’s digital web experience. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in digital marketing, web analytics, and content management systems-especially within regulated industries such as financial services.As a Product Specialist, you will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, UX, development, and compliance teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences that are user-focused, data-informed, and aligned with business goals.This is a 12-month contract which has potential to extend for an additional 12-months after the initial contract period. The role requires the Product Specialist to work onsite at our client’s office in downtown Toronto 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday).Advantages

- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and compliance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements for website enhancements.
- Manage and triage content and functional requests, ensuring alignment with brand, legal, and accessibility standards.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog grooming, user story creation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple regions and instances.
- Analyze behavioral data using platforms like Google Analytics to provide actionable insights for improving user engagement and conversions.
- Partner with UX designers, developers, and QA analysts to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Assist with SEO strategies, site tagging, and campaign tracking in partnership with digital marketing teams.
- Conduct content audits, analytics reviews, and post-launch retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with digital marketing platform owners (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, social) to ensure effective website integrations.
Qualifications
Experience (Must Have):
- 10-15 years of experience in digital product management, web analysis, or digital marketing.
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., financial services) is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on expertise with Content Management Systems such as dotCMS, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, or Sitecore.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, or HubSpot.
Technical Skills (Must Have):
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (dotCMS, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore).
- Working knowledge of marketing automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, or HubSpot).
Technical Skills (Nice to Have):
- Google Analytics (GA4) experience for behavioral data analysis and performance tracking.
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with financial product structures (mutual funds, ETFs, institutional mandates).
- Experience working with component-based design systems or digital libraries.
- Knowledge of compliance workflows and legal review processes for web content.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, including backlog management, QA coordination, and stakeholder demo facilitation.
- Strong grasp of digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
