Job description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We are hiring a Director, Next Best Action Strategy role. In this role you will report to the Senior Director, Next Best Action, Strategy and will play a leadership role in defining both the long-term roadmap and immediate term deliverables to bring RBC’s hyper personalization vision to life. This role will require strong teambuilding couple with an ability to collaborate exceptionally effectively with RBC enterprise partners to ensure strong alignment amongst cross-platform objectives. This individual will be responsible for the developing and enhancing the overall NBA strategy, building out the next set of deliverables to drive the overall strategy, and owning certain management cadences for both the working team and senior leaders to ensure NBA is driving toward intended outcomes.What will you do?Partner with NBA SMT members and functional partners to develop the roadmap to deliver on our hyper personalization ambitionStructure complex topics into a clear and effective communication to inform leadership to make decisions and trade-offs, prioritizing efforts towards delivering highest value for RBC and clientsEnsure the NBA Transformational program stays on track by owning governance routines such as Transformation Board (senior Executive attendees), quarterly OKRs and Program Increment Planning.Build strong relationships across the enterprise (e.g. within NBA, LOB’s, Digital, Borealis, Marketing, Risk, Operations, etc.) to bring together expertise required to advance strategiesManage and develop high performing talentWhat do you need to success?Must Have:Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret and analytical skillset to synthesize large sets of data in clear articulation of what matters mostDemonstrated strategic, innovative thinker who has high comfort with ambiguity and is proactive to determine next step in identifying opportunities and driving work forwardDemonstrated ability to grasp new concepts quickly with exceptional partnership, impact and influence across multiple cross-functional stakeholdersExcellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including advanced experience in creating clear actionable presentations for C-level executives and leaders5-10+ years’ experience in strategy and consulting related areasNice to Have:Passion for Data and AIExperience in financial services, digital marketing, or large-scale client engagement programsExperience with agile ways of workingMBA graduateWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. Job Summary: Director, Next Best Action Strategy

Opportunity:
RBC is seeking a Director for their Next Best Action (NBA) Strategy. This leadership position, reporting to the Senior Director, will focus on shaping the long-term vision and immediate goals for RBC’s hyper-personalization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with NBA senior management and functional partners to define and execute the NBA roadmap.
  • Communicate complex topics clearly to assist in leadership decision-making and prioritize high-value initiatives.
  • Ensure the NBA Transformational program is on track by managing governance routines such as Transformation Board meetings and quarterly objectives.
  • Build strong interdepartmental relationships to leverage expertise in advancing strategies.
  • Lead talent development within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Must Have:

    • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
    • Strategic, innovative thinker comfortable with ambiguity.
    • Effective communication skills, particularly for C-level presentations.
    • 5-10+ years in strategy or consulting roles.
  • Nice to Have:

    • Passion for data and AI.
    • Experience in financial services or digital marketing.
    • MBA graduate.
