Job description: Director, Financial InstitutionsRole Responsibilities:Sales and Client Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships through proactive and ongoing client relationship management with key financial institution clients.
Upsell and retain existing clients: Understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities to develop tailored solutions in order to retain and grow wallet share.
Cross-sell to existing clients: Drive revenue growth by ensuring that existing clients have access to our full suite of offerings and understand our vast cross border payment capabilities.
Serve as the primary point of contact to FI clients: Extend professional service to FI clients by providing full end to end workflow support, subject matter expertise in cross border payments and exception handling, and all aspects of service delivery for a demanding client base with SLA’s. managing internal obstacles invisibly to the client.
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders including Product, IT, Presales, Operations, and compliance teams to provide seamless support and fully leverage the capabilities of the organization to drive growth and customer satisfaction across all platforms.
New Business support: Collaboration with the FI sales team to flawlessly onboard new financial institution customers. Establish top level relationships with clients and prospects in order to retain and grow new businessNew Business development: Leverage industry knowledge and experience to directly onboard new business Financial Institutions clients. Responsible for realizing revenue through the entire sales process of an integrated global payments solution including planning, lead generation, business development, and closing while collaborating internally for implementing and maximizing opportunities.Achieve annual and monthly new business sales targets as assigned by management
Present the Company’s global payment solutions to financial institutions to successfully convert these prospects into the Company’s clients.
Work with potential FI Core or digital platform providers to help Corpay expand our footprint and accelerate growth
Leveraging your industry network to open new opportunities for Corpay by identifying potential client opportunities, providing industry insight, building market awareness of Corpay and representing us in the industry.
Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and other internal teams on marketing materials and case studiesStrategy Development:Support in the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for the financial institutions client vertical, in alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client requirements.
Support the enhancement of Corpay Cross border Platforms and solution offeringsP&L Ownership:Support in the development and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics for Financial Institutions .
Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.Team Mentorship:Mentor and upskill existing account management team focusing on upsell and cross sell opportunities.
Support the recruitment, development, and leadership of a high-performing team dedicated to serving financial institution clients.
Provide coaching and feedback and foster a culture of excellence.
Create a collaborative and innovative team environment.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure that all activities within the financial institutions vertical comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Implement effective risk management practices and procedures.Market Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within the financial sector.
Use market insights to drive strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.Reporting and Communication:Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the financial institutions client vertical.
Communicate progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives effectively within the organization.This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $150,000 CAD and $190,000 CAD.
