Job description: Description :Position Summary :Reporting to the Sr. Director of National Retail Sales. The Director of Large Store and E-commerce will oversee the Canadian Grocery and Ecommerce vendor customer relationships and drive the growth strategy to provide customers with our best-in-class customer support and experience. This role will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to build and lead all revenue and sales aspects of our Canadian Grocery (Loblaw, Sobeys, Metro , IGA etc) and E-commerce Partners (Amazon /Walmart/Sobeys/Costco etc.) and components of the business including forecasting, AD planning, and executing content / marketing plans, overseeing the generation digital campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic and product performance, among other things.Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead promotional strategies for Grocery and E-Commerce (Ads, deals, campaigns, etc.)
  • Plan and allocate Grocery and E-Commerce Advertising spend based on performance KPIs.
  • Generate quarterly projections on including ROI and Sources of Growth for LS and E-commerce.
  • Align with internal Operations team on demand planning, fulfillment, chargeback, and compliance requests for business.
  • Analyze performance data and optimize campaigns to ensure they are continuously bringing quality traffic while maintaining a strong ROI.
  • Manage all Pricing & Chain Plan requirements and timelines
  • Build Business Review Decks reporting on the state of the business for each Grocery or E-comm account.
  • Demonstrates ability to synthesize data to accurately assess situations and find actionable solutions
  • Understand the long-term business and financial implications of e-commerce decisions made
  • Monitors budget controls on an ongoing basis such as case spending, and travel expenses
  • Direct all operations of E-Commerce accounts through the Vendor Central Portal to monitor and analyze ASIN/SKU performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews and make recommendations to enhance rankings and performance and ultimately drive sales.
  • Maintain and monitor E-Commerce account health to achieve high seller rankings in addition to inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment.
  • Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Be the in-house expert and repository of knowledge of all E-Commerce platform changes and best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of E-Commerce selling policies, code of conduct and ensure all accounts remain in compliance.
  • Oversee the direction of continuous improvement of our internal and external processes to support ECommerce partners.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of expertise in Sales and business development required, with experience in analytical models (trends, competitors, distribution channels, customer base, promotion and products).
  • Strong communicative skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Create and implement comprehensive e-commerce sales strategies in accordance with the goals and initiatives of the sales department and management staff.
  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills, strong experience interpreting data & drawing conclusions
  • Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives Demonstrated track record of sales management achievement
  • Proven knowledge of DSD distributor and retail customer networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers; ability to collaborate at all levels
  • Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses
  • Able to work independently while being a team player
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with demand planning/ forecasting, Nielsen/IRI, and Power BI reports.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed

Base Pay Range = $118,400 CAD – $139,300 CAD (+)
