You will exercise a high degree of independent judgment, providing leadership for business consulting, information architecture activities, and deliverables for a team managing projects. As a Director, you will develop and maintain internal relationships across the organization, including negotiating and influencing opinions. Additionally, you will provide sophisticated analysis of complex business information and make comprehensive recommendations to management, including executives and business leaders. You will drive innovation across areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role will specifically focus on leading and supporting our MarTech work. You will lead a team of Product Owners, ensuring that our internal Salesforce applications are aligned with business outcomes and built with end users in mind.At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed during your interview, expectation is the candidate will be on-site 2+ days a week.How You’ll SucceedProduct Delivery: Take ownership of the work delivered and strive to drive the best digital experience for your end users. Be well-versed in agile methodology and delivering in complex organizations where multiple delivery partners work towards a common goal. Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering new and enhanced experiences to users.Salesforce Expertise: Possess intimate knowledge of Salesforce (Salesforce Financial Cloud, Data Cloud, SFMC, etc.) and its capabilities. Have experience either using the platform as a user or in a support role (product delivery).Strategic Thinking: Take a holistic view of the work at hand. Drive, manage, and execute projects and initiatives to align with the Canadian Banking Strategy across all lines of business, user groups, and channels. Ensure alignment with business goals, objectives, and KPIs. Provide insights, recommendations, and strategic direction based on Salesforce capabilities and CIBC’s business needs. Mobilize and engage teams across the enterprise to deliver strategic change.Team Player and Leadership: Act both collaboratively and autonomously. Contribute to the creation of the Salesforce strategy and methodology. Lead a team of product delivery professionals to define the vision, business requirements, and delivery roadmap for a portfolio of work. Collaborate with peers in the product delivery leadership team (business and technology) and partners across the enterprise to ensure world-class efficiency, driving Agile, lean, and collaborative practices.Business Acumen and Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with CIBC’s various teams by working with the business and internal partners. Own end-to-end programs to deliver new and enhanced capabilities, with a strong understanding of user needs and experiences across channels.Communication: Be a storyteller with the ability to synthesize complex analysis, findings, and recommendations. Package key messages for senior executives. Demonstrate a proven ability to partner, build confidence, and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
