E-Commerce Intern -Analytics (Unpaid/Honorarium)
Reporting to Digital Commerce Manager

As the leading high-end men’s wear clothier in Canada, Harry Rosen has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an eCommerce internship in the marketing department. We are currently seeking a student to assist and support the E-Commerce team remotely. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure in a well-established organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our digital marketing & e-commerce initiatives by monitoring and analyzing the website’s performance and providing meaningful insights and recommendations on driving online conversion. Working within a dynamic, agile environment, the E-Commerce Intern will work with multi-functional teams to generate new ideas and deliver results to achieve the targets set out. The successful candidate will have a passion and expertise in reviewing data and landscape to provide actionable insights to support the strategic goals.
After training takes place, the successful candidate will work independently on a number of tasks and projects with guidance from the E-Commerce team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for analyzing website performance and communicating performance data as actionable insights that guide tactical decisions.
- Monitoring site performance KPIs including site errors and struggle analytics.
- Building and managing site analytics dashboards that track eCommerce KPIs through the consumer decision journey funnel.
- Collaborating with marketing cross functional teams to understand business and reporting goals and challenges to help drive business growth by leveraging web analytics tools .
- Assisting with planning and analyzing content journey for key seasonal merchandise.
- Carrying out A/B tests on site using experimentation platforms and support recommendations for optimization.
- Other ad hoc site analytics and department reporting projects and initiatives, as required.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Analytics, Business, E-Commerce, Fashion or related Digital university/college program which has a formal internship/co-op requirement.
- Experience with website A/B testing and personalization tools is an asset
- Experience with conducting analysis using web analytics and BI tools including data visualization is an asset
- Adaptable and demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to respond to situations quickly
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, planning, project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of the fashion/retail industry an asset
Location: Due to our current situation, the position will be a work from home arrangement.
Required: January 10, 2022 – April 22, 2022; 24 hrs/wk; M-F 9-2
Honorarium paid at the end of each month.
