A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm.

We are looking for a creative technical professional who is passionate about delivering innovation in customer relationship management, marketing automation and personalization with cutting edge marketing technology. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver the technology to take PwC Canada’s marketing and sales to the next level.

As part of our Marketing, Communications & Sales team, the Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the administration, adoption, testing, and assessment of marketing technology platforms. This is currently a virtual role based in Toronto.

The Email Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Technology Solutions Manager, while working closely with other team members to provide support on assigned systems, as well as working alongside marketing and communications stakeholders on larger projects.


What you’ll create and do

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud, our marketing automation platform

  • Answer and support marketing, sales and analytics users on the marketing technology, and provide training

  • Contribute to the Solutions team strategy and roadmap for marketing technology systems

  • Contribute to MC&S projects

  • Provide on-going recommendations and support to increase marketing system adoption, improve marketing campaign quality, and support stronger sales efforts

  • Contribute to the assessment and selection of Solutions technology for marketing, as needed


What you’ll bring to this role

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives

  • Advanced experience in digital marketing technology (CRM / Acquisition)

  • Previous experience in marketing, sales or communications is highly desirable

  • A relevant university degree in an area such as information technology, marketing, sales, information management & architecture, marketing technology, sales technology, digital marketing, data and analytics

  • Comfort and experience with a wide variety of marketing, sales or communications technology

  • Previous experience working with and administering marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Oracle Eloqua

  • Previous experience working with client relationship management tools, such as Salesforce CRM, or Microsoft Dynamics

  • Experience and comfort with tools such as Excel and Alteryx are preferable

  • Familiarity with Canada’s Anti Spam Legislation (CASL)

  • Experience with ampscript or html is an asset

  • Client service oriented, with strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to understand client needs

  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and negotiation skills, with the ability to distil complex technological concepts and articulate clear communication to various stakeholders across the organization

  • Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities and conflicting agendas

  • Excellent judgment, analysis and problem solving skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Adaptable and able to work within tight deadlines, showing flexibility
