Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Event Coordinator to join our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit event management and a strong passion for our mission. This role involves planning, executing, and evaluating various events that promote our cause and engage our community.
Essential Job Functions:

Event Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and manage detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
- Oversee all aspects of events, including venue setup, registration, and post-event evaluation.

Marketing and Promotion: (Experience in this area is a plus)
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for events.
- Utilize social media and other channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Collect and analyze feedback to improve future events.

Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance event participation and sponsorship.
- Represent the organization at community meetings and events to promote our mission.

Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare post-event reports highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future events.
- Keep thorough records of all event-related activities and communications.
