Salary: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour

Job Description:

Our company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Toronto, ON. The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician will be to maintain and repair our facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment maintenance, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities
– Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and systems
– Perform repairs and adjustments as needed to keep equipment running smoothly
– Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations
– Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
– Follow all safety protocols and procedures
– Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an industrial setting
– Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read blueprints and schematics
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Basic computer skills
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
