With ownership of the product(s): Work within Agile team environments to deliver best software and automated solutions to our suite of products, deliver systems enhancement, oversee change management, and participate in operational reviews.Assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with our automation strategy.Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.Assist with the Agile team reporting and road-mapping.Facilitate discussions between business departments & Systems division to identify business requirements, testing needs and implementation timelines.Arrange for the update of relevant training materials and job aids.Attend kick off meetings to review existing operational controls.Organize documentation in advance of operational process reviews.Schedule resources and coordinate operational process walkthroughs & follow-up meetings.Conduct meetings with the management and leadership team to update them on the status of process analysis, findings, and recommendations for enhancements.Assist with the implementation of process automation improvements and efficiency recommendations.What We Are Looking ForPost-secondary degree or equivalent working experience.1 + year(s) working experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or equivalent.3+ years working within the financial industry.Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Excel); have working knowledge of software development.Knowledge of Fundserv and Salesforce is an asset.Knowledge of Mutual Fund operations is an asset.The Expertise You BringIn-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills.Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote.Successful at building strong interpersonal relationships with cross divisional teams, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.Creative thinker with a vision.Some of the ways we’ll help you feel valued and supported as part of our team:Flexible working arrangements.Competitive total compensation, including company contributions to your group RRSP without a matching requirement from you.Comprehensive health benefits that start on your first day, with 100% employer-paid premiums, which include up to $5000 annually for mental health services and therapy.Parental leave top-up to 100% of your salary for a period of 25 weeksUp to $650 for home office equipmentGenerous time off policy, including 2 paid days annually to volunteer at a charity of your choice.Diversity and inclusion programs, including an active network of Employee Resource GroupsExtensive professional development opportunities, including access to over 11,000 training and development courses, tuition reimbursement, and monetary rewards for completing a required designation.We care a lot about fostering a compassionate, people-centric culture, and are proud to have been named one of Canada’s Top 100 employers for the last five years.Fidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
