Work alongside the FP&A Area:

• Assist with monthly production and rate & retention reports with supporting variance analysis
• Assist with completion of monthly financial analysis pack
• Assist in execution of the annual Plan process including set up of premium, acquisition and expense templates
• Run monthly forecast process including projections for premiums, losses, acquisition cost and expenses
• Assist in developing performance metrics and participate in meetings with management by highlighting key business drivers
• Participate in preparation of quarterly business performance review by working closely executive leadership team
• Participate in projects and initiatives as required
• Provide ad hoc variance analytics as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Bachelor’s degree co-op student or recent graduate with a history of strong academic performance
• Pursuing CPA or CFA designation is an asset
• Proven track record in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical, organizational and time management skills; must be detail-oriented
• Ability to conceptualize details and develop action plans for problem solving and decision making
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment with limited supervision
• Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
• Experience with Microsoft products, with excellent excel skills
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning Tool and BI programs is considered an asset

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

– Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– PMP certification is a plus
