Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented FICA Compliance Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring adherence to FICA tax requirements, managing payroll reporting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to guarantee accurate tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• FICA Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the organization’s operations comply with all FICA regulations and guidelines, including employee and employer contributions.

• Payroll Processing Oversight: Collaborate with the payroll team to verify that FICA taxes are accurately calculated and reported on employee wages.

• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to federal authorities, maintaining accurate records of contributions and compliance efforts.

• Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits of payroll and tax processes to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

• Policy Development: Assist in developing and updating internal policies and procedures regarding FICA compliance, in alignment with federal regulations.

• Training & Support: Provide training and support to team members on FICA tax issues to ensure a company-wide understanding of compliance requirements.

• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with finance, HR, and legal departments to clarify FICA-related inquiries and facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal tax regulations, especially FICA.
• Experience with payroll systems and tax compliance.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
