Position Overview
The FICA Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization’s tax protocols are in full compliance with Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA) requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of tax regulations, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of FICA taxes for all employees.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations pertaining to FICA.
• Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll taxes.
• Assist in the preparation of annual FICA tax returns and related documentation.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies in FICA contributions.
• Stay updated on changes to FICA regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
• Provide support during internal and external audits related to tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in tax compliance, specifically regarding FICA regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with different teams.
