What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Multimedia Designer within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in 212 King Street West, Toronto ON.
The purpose of this role is to create visually engaging and effective multimedia designs to support the marketing and sales efforts that serve to position the Corpay brand in the marketplace and generate revenue for the business, along with promoting its thought leadership. The primary focus of the role will be creating videos, animations and other motion graphic designs for various applications, and the ideal candidate will have an excellent grasp on photography, composition, image-making, post-production video editing, and 2D video productions.
You will be working closely with our in-house graphic designers and content creation team to produce high-end visual content for our marketing channels, so the ideal candidate would have design skills that translate into quality animated content. This position requires intermediate to advanced aptitude across the Creative Cloud applications and an innovative individual experienced in branding and marketing concepts. The position also requires good communications skills, as work is completed in collaboration with the broader Marketing Team, Product Development, Sales Group, and other key internal stakeholders, to ensure that all output accurately reflects and adheres to corporate branding and messaging guidelines.
The salary range rate for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 CAD.

As a Multimedia Designer, you will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

Company-issued equipment [+ remote access] Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:

Designing and producing attractive multimedia content
Utilizing animation software, design tools and audio recording equipment to produce visual imagery
Building motion graphics from scratch or from static graphics by using templates
Creating digital images, video animations, and textual animations encompassing original artwork
Conceptualizing ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds and other animation elements
Collaborating with a wide variety of internal stakeholder’s scope projects and brainstorm ideas
Becoming familiar with the project goal and doing research to understand the assignment
Producing mock-ups and storyboards to provide rough ideas about the finished working design
Reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, audio and color, and final editing
Seeking feedback from stakeholders and revising work based on their input in a timely manner
Completing post-production elements – time coding, video supers, title cards, special effects, typography, transitions
Collaborating with external videographers around the world to provide context and support
Managing the set-up of lights, cameras and sound equipment for live video and photo shoots as needed – or working with remote offices to accomplish the same

Qualifications & Skills

Post-secondary degree in graphic design, digital design, film, or a related field
At least three years’ experience in a similar role
A portfolio of multimedia design content showcasing your skills and experience
Finance industry experience is an asset but not a requirement
Good understanding of factors that affect perception of quality and engagement of viewers
Passionate about video storytelling and motion graphics specifically
Strong proficiency with Creative Cloud or other comparable design software
Strong proficiency with media converters, audio editors and converters, video editing software
Ability to create solid information designs, concepts and sample layouts
Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principals, and animation
Strong understanding of responsive design
Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities with strong project management skills
Self-starter with the ability to respond quickly and effectively within a changing environment
Ability to meet deadlines and provide quick turnaround on projects when necessary
