Here’s the opportunity: Digital Marketing Coordinator
As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will play an integral role in the wider Marketing & Communications team contributing to the continued growth of the organization’s overall success. To qualify, you should have prior demonstrated experience in digital marketing, with a passion for campaigning online.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating online marketing campaigns, analyzing metrics, and generating reports. You will also assist the team in implementing SEO tactics, enhancing our website presence and client journey, lead generation and email marketing strategic support and supporting our planning and operations, ultimately ensuring business objectives are met.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves launching campaigns, who keeps up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing and getting hands-on with an evolving Marketing Technology (Martech) stack.
This is a permanent, full-time position, based in our Toronto or Montreal office. The incumbent will be working on our hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office).
What you will do:
- Develop, support, and coordinate SEM & Paid Social campaigns, including ad copy creation, keyword research, and bidding tactics to drive website traffic and generate leads/sales.
- Implement and evaluate Google Tag Manager to track website analytics and conversion goals.
- Actively participate in content migration for the new website, ensuring seamless transition and maintaining consistency in messaging and branding.
- Update and optimize our current WordPress website for content changes.
- Support the new website build and CRM integration with SEO implementations, content auditing, data entry, landing page creation, quality assurance testing, and project coordination with our vendors.
- Collaborate with the web development team and external vendors to ensure proper implementation of SEO strategies, including metadata optimization, URL structure, and sitemap management.
- Conduct quality assurance tests and make updates to ensure the website functions seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and rectify any broken links, outdated content, or issues affecting user experience.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize landing pages and improve conversion rates.
- Utilize Google Analytics and other measurement tools to create dashboards and analyze website performance, providing actionable insights to the marketing team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google, Meta, and LinkedIn product features and best practices to continuously improve campaign performance and make recommendations where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the web development team and external vendors to ensure website and landing pages are properly set up for tracking and conversion optimization.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager and Marcom team with administrative and reporting tasks.
What you will have:
- Relevant experience may include pertinent education with a focus in Digital Marketing and/or equivalent hands-on career experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success implementing campaigns.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Familiar with Google Analytics and other digital measurement tools, as well as Microsoft suite and WordPress.
- Self-starter and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication, interpersonal and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- French language skills are not mandatory but will be considered as an asset.
- Client or agency-side experience with non-profits, entrepreneurship, financing and/or banking considered an asset.
