Job description: Our client is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead their Canadian subsidiary. This is a high-impact role for a visionary, sales-focused leader who thrives on building strong teams and driving strategic growth.
- P&L responsibility for Canada
- Managing existing relationships with different Industrial OEMs as well as distributors across Canada.
- Leading and coordinating a team of employees across Canada.
- Further developing and optimizing processes at such as purchasing, stock management, Logistics etc.
- Promoting company’s brand and products in Canada through different media (exhibitions, Internet, digital marketing, etc.) in coordination with the parent company marketing team.
- Visiting customers to deepen the relationship with existing customers.
- Acquiring new customers by developing different sales channels.
- Achieving the assigned sales and operational results and targets.
- Dealing with administrative issues and being a local key contact to auditors, lawyers, and tax advisors.
- The role directly reports into the President (North America) of the company.

- 10+ years of sales experience in markets related to the mechanical industry, components or similar products.
- Nice to have familiarity with machine components such as – Handles, Gear Levers, Clamping parts etc.
- Demonstrated full P&L ownership experience, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth, manage costs, and deliver sustained profitability in a complex industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong operational background with the ability to optimize supply chain, production, and sales performance to meet financial and customer targets.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Adept at building customer relationships and expanding market share through strategic partnerships and service excellence.
