To do this, he/she designs and develops automatic solutions for retrieving and exploiting large volumes of data, and ensures that the data is reliable, accessible and exploitable in an efficient and secure manner.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the design and implementation of data governance processes.Analyze and think critically about new issues, in order to propose innovative software solutions.Design and develop data pipelines for integration into our range of software products.Ensure that our data solutions are robust, scalable and easily deployable to meet customer requirements.Guarantee data integrity and quality on an ongoing basis, by implementing automatic tests and validations.Document processes and data flows to facilitate system maintenance and evolution.Keep up to date with the latest advances in data engineering.QualificationsUniversity degree in computer science, engineering or related field.At least 5 years’ experience in the design, maintenance and deployment of pipelines that collect, process and store data from various sources.Proficiency in data warehousing systems (SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.) and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.Experience of cloud service provider(s) such as Azure.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.Ability to communicate in French (oral and written)Additional informationAt GIRO, you’ll be quickly integrated and called upon to make a real contribution!
