Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Graphic Designer with CPG experience, who loves food and thrives on turning creative concepts into visually stunning designs. This role involves creating compelling assets for our CPG client’s digital platforms, collaborating on photoshoot strategies, and supporting the social media team with ready-to-use templates. If you have a flair for photo editing and motion graphics, even better! You’ll be an essential part of how our client visually represents their products, old and new, from the perfect cooking shot to mouthwatering design assets. This is a remote 3+ month contract, with approximately 20-30 hrs/week, though some weeks might require full-time bandwidth.Key Responsibilities:
- Craft visually engaging assets for our client’s website, email campaigns, and product pages.
- Develop on-brand designs that resonate with our client’s youthful demographic and highlight our client’s product offerings.
- Work closely with the marketing, ecommerce, and creative teams to strategize the creative direction for upcoming photoshoots.
- Contribute to creative direction by planning shots that showcase our client’s products in action, including cooking scenes, food styling, and lifestyle moments.
- Create Canva templates that empower the social media team to share cohesive and impactful content across platforms.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table for showcasing our products in unique and engaging ways.
- Use Photoshop to retouch and manipulate images for various marketing needs, ensuring our client’s food photography looks as appetizing as possible.
- Bonus: create small motion graphics or GIFs to enhance digital campaigns and social media content.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience in Canva for creating templates.
- Strong eye for detail, colour, and composition.
- Basic photo editing skills with a focus on food and product imagery.
- Ability to collaborate on creative strategies and execute visual storytelling.
- (Preferred) Experience with motion graphics or creating GIFs.
- A creative thinker with a love for food and design.
- Someone who can balance multiple projects in a fast-paced CPG environment.
- A team player who thrives on collaboration and innovation.
- An appreciation for food styling and photography trends is a big plus!
