Job description: Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior FIORI Developer to join their organization on a full time permanent basis. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site and remote days to be confirmed.

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining application UIs for S/4 HANA, BaS, and other SAP systems supporting HTC. They will extend SAP standard functionality using advanced user interface technologies such as UI5, Fiori, and Personas. Additionally, they will create and maintain SAP design and technical documents, ensuring thorough testing and validation of application functionality and performance.
• This role requires participation in all phases of the SDLC, including providing 24/7 operations and maintenance support.
• Banking experience is nice to have.
• 8+ years’ experience with SAP development tool set with HANA experience preferred.
• Experience with BTP (preferred).
• Excellent programming skills and good knowledge of SAP data structure.
• 8+ years’ experience in Fiori and HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Java.
• Azure DevOps & SAP Solman experience (an asset)·
• Working knowledge of SAP UI5 development Frameworks, programming experience and UI5 development techniques to perform daily UI5 development, testing, content transport and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SAP Development tool set with HANA experience. E.g. SAP Web IDE, Business Application Studio.
• Working knowledge of ABAP, CDS View and HANA OData services.
• Design and implement new solutions using SAP’s latest UI5 / Fiori Cloud Platform technologies.
• Deploy custom SAP Fiori applications using SAP BTP, Web IDE/Business Application Studio, and SAP UI5.
• Implement and deploy SAP Fiori applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups.
• Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure that work delivered meets business requirements and standards both functionally and technically.
• Ensure great test coverage for your code and support the team in completing root cause analyses, providing solutions for development issues and avoiding any regression test errors.
• Develop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts.
• Conduct unit, integration and release testing to validate functionality and support end users’ acceptance testing activities.
• Work with Release manager & project managers to plan and execute on all software releases.
• In conjunction with the support team, ensures the stabilization of current applications and the introduction of new modules as appropriate.
• Provide second level support that meets the defined IT service levels and standards, and to meet or surpass business and customer expectations.
• Support the information systems and operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards and legal requirements.
• Review and ensure the creation and maintenance of operational procedures and documentation.
• Explores new technologies for future planning and potential implementation.
• Mentor UI developer resources on best practices and new technology.
• Provide feedback to the business about projects and initiatives that affect or need to be supported by the current operating environment.
• Participate in the review of audit results, and compliance action plans identified by Internal Audit.

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Excellent interpersonal communication /collaboration skills.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in business management, finance, or related field (university an asset).
• Working knowledge of ABAP, CDS View and HANA OData services.
• Good understanding of security and configuration of Fiori apps in cloud and on premise.
